SCHEDULE:
Monday to Thursday, July 8-11, are full days of camp, running from 9am - 4pm.
Friday, July 12 is a Family Event Day from 10am - 2pm.
AGES:
Camp is for kids entering Grades SK-6 in September 2024 (born in 2013-2019).
Kids must have completed one year of JK by summer of 2023.
COST:
$165 per camper
This includes: T-shirt, workbooks, all activity materials, daily snacks, prizes, and a pizza lunch + admission to Friday's Family event.
VOLUNTEER DISCOUNT:
Volunteers will receive a discount. Only those who call Hope Markham their home church are able to serve in accordance with our Plan to Protect Policy. You will receive a discount code in your confirmation email that you can apply to your registration.
Kindergarten Camp
(4-5 year olds)
The youngest campers (born in 2019) will spend the mornings and afternoons in their own class where they will have some fun themed activities each day! The activities will be tailored to the children's age level and will include a variety of things like crafts, games and more!
Limited spots are available for this class.
ELECTIVES
Gr. 1-3
In the morning, campers will go through a pre-set schedule of games, crafts, bible lessons and activities in the morning related to our theme each day.
In the afternoon, campers will be able to pre-select TWO AFTERNOON electives of their choice that they will attend for the rest of the week. Each elective will be about 1 hour long, from Monday-Thursday.

ARTS & CRAFTS
Step into the world of glitz and glam this summer! Join us for this jewel-filled elective where we'll bedazzle our own crafts and accessories using rhinestones and gems. Get ready to shine as we turn up the sparkle!

Play with fellow jungle explorers to complete daily challenges in carnival style games and video games and defeat Jungle Jack's champions to unlock the treasures hidden in the jungle jackpot.

Test your agility, strength and endurance! Challenge your mind! Join forces with teammates! Everyday will be a new adventure full of physical challenges and mind-boggling clues to help your team get one step closer to that finish line!
Amazing Race
DANCE
Movin’ & Groovin
Move, groove, stomp and beat! This elective will be sure to explore the rhythmic side of music. We will be exploring bucket drumming, hip hop dance/step and so much more! This elective will prepare a special performance at the parent program on Friday.
ARTS & CRAFTS
Creation Station
Kids will get a chance to let their creative juices flow! Each day, kids will be guided through different art techniques to create fun animal masterpieces that they will get to take home. They will also make an animal fact book and play some mini games, depending on the day!
COOKING
Join the tasty quest at “Jungle Bites Adventure”, where kids become kitchen explorers while cooking up wild and yummy treats inspired by the jungle. It’s a deliciously fun adventure with flavours that will make taste buds roar with excitement!
* Everything in this elective will be nut free, however kids will have exposure to eggs, wheat, dairy, food colouring and other potential allergens.

Wild Culinary Adventures
Step into our jungle camp and combine the ambiance of the jungle with the wonders of trying different cooking techniques and recipes. Campers will explore the scientific principles behind recipes inspired by the richness of the jungle and use a variety of different kitchen tools.

is financial aid available?

what is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations on or before June 9, 2024 is subject to a $25 cancellation fee. After June 9, 2024, you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds after July 7, 2024.
when does registration starts?
Registration will open at 7am on March 10, 2024.
Can i make changes to elective choices?
No, you cannot make changes once you have made them. Electives are also first come, first serve. If your child's first choice is full, we will put them in their second choice.
is lunch provided? snacks?
No. Campers will need to pack a nut-free lunch each day. We will provide snacks for all campers in the morning and afternoon. There will be dairy-free, nut-free and gluten-free options available if your child has allergies.
what is the friday family event?
This year, our family event will be held at the church from 10am - 2pm. Parents or Guardians MUST ACCOMPANY their child/children for this day. Pizza lunch for all is included. More information will be given closer to camp.
Do you provide before/after care?
No, we do not provide before / after care. Parents must arrange drop off and pick up at the designated times before and after camp. Drop-off starts at 8:40am. Pick-up starts 4:00pm and no later than 4:30pm.
can my older child volunteer at camp?
We only accept youth in Grades 9-12 who have attended our church and/or our Hope Youth program for a minimum of 6 months AND who have served in our Hope Kids weekend program. We reserve the right to deny student volunteers based on poor behaviour from previous years.
